Question about Spatial Collapse

Suppose Player A has Spatial Collapse active
Player B summons Jinzo, Spatial Collapse is negated, limit effect off.
Sometime later, both players have more than 6 cards on the field,
Spatial Collapse is still face-up, and player A destroys Jinzo somehow.
What happens next?
Do the players now need to discard cards from the field to be under the 5 card limit?
