Questions on Thunder Dragon's effect and returning cards to the bottom of the Deck

I know that if I don't have any other copies of Thunder Dragon in my deck, I can still discard one from my hand to "search" for 0 copies. But if it's known that my deck doesn't have any others, am I allowed to skip over the action of actually searching my deck? Or would I still need to do that because gameplay mechanics don't know whether or not I still have any copies left?

Also, for effects that return a hand card to the bottom of the deck and it doesn't matter what kind (such as Good Goblin Housekeeping), does my opponent not see the card I choose?

1) You can discard Thunder Dragon and search your deck for more even if there aren't any. Its a tactic you can use to essentially get a free shuffle if you feel like you have a bad draw of if there's something on the bottom of the deck you want to try and bring closer up to the top.

2) Any time an effect mentions "a card" and not a specific one, you do not have to show it to your opponent. That's why you don't have to show your opponent what you chose for Different Dimension Capsule.

The two parts not necessarily related to each other :)

You do not know what's in your deck. You declare how many Thunder Dragons you want to search for before searching your deck, and then you search your deck for that many Thunder Dragons, also reveal them to your opponent before adding them to your hand. If you choose 0 you must search you should search your deck for 0 Thunder Dragons, and then show 0 Thunder Dragons to your opponent and then add them to your hand. (0 is a whole number ;))

IF its from your hand to your deck you don't have to reveal the card to your opponent.

IF you add a card from your graveyard to your deck you DO show it to your opponent.

EDIT: Must type faster...

You forgot to add that I must also move my hands to imitate the action of adding 0 cards from my deck to my hand :)
