Talk about an interesting Chain (Link) of events: saw friend browse through some screenshots of the old R-Type games. Then later in the day, happened across the Victory Viper XX03 and Power Capsule cards.
So yeah, if you haven't figured out already, I'm in need again of creating a deck based around Victory Viper XX03 and Gradius. So far the must-haves include
3 x Victory Viper XX03
3 x Gradius
3 x Gradius' Option
3 x Heavy Mech Support Platform
3 x Limiter Removal
3 x Power Capsule
3 x Luminous Spark
What bothers me is the amount of work just to get the Vipers and Gradiuses to a decent beatdown level with the least amount of combos.
Also, how well would Inferno Reckless Summon fit in this deck? Given the unlikely chance I get a clean shot with a Gradius and I somehow have a Gradius' Option to Special Summon and Limiter Removal in hand, that would make for an OTK if not a decent thrashing.
I'm also wondering how well a B.E.S. Boss Rush OTK would fit in such a deck.
