Rainbow Ruin's 3rd effect

I want to know weather the crystal beast, you tribute to negate a magic or trap, has to be in the monster zones, m/t zones or either?

it says on the field, but there have been a ton of problems with stuff like this before.

Crystal Beasts in the S/T zone are not considered to be monsters. They are considered to be Continuous Spells. So you cannot use them for the 3rd effect of Rainbow Ruin. You must choose one from the Monster Zones.

HA! I WAS RIGHT! I got mis-judged when I played Heavy Storm with 4x Crystal Beast on s/t zone with Rainbow Ruin with no Crystal Beast monsters on monster zone!

I'm gunna nag about this against when I get back :p
