So is this changing the whole Fusions are NOT normal monsters schtick?
in essence can I use order to charge on my flame swordsman?
are other cards that affect normals only, and effect only have an impact on
these fusions, rituals as well??
would Masked Beast follow the same type of rulings as a flame swordsman??
Answer:
Fusion Monsters are not Normal Monsters.
Ritual Monsters are not Normal Monsters.
The reason some Fusion Monsters (that do not have effects) and Ritual Monsters
(again, the ones without effects) can be protected has to do with the text on
"Non-SpellCasting Area":
"All face-up Monster Cards on the field, except for Effect Monsters, are
unaffected by any Spell Card (excluding this card)."
"Flame Swordsman" does not have an effect, thus he is protected by
"Non-Spellcasting Area." "Ryu Senshi," on the other hand, DOES have an
effect and due to this is NOT protected by "Non-Spellcasting Area."
You CANNOT use "Order to Charge" with "Flame Swordsman."
