Reasoning and Monster Gate

If I activate either Reasoning or Monster Gate and as I am picking up cards I pick up a ritual monster, do I keep picking up more cards until I reach a monster that can be normal summoned, or do I send the ritual monster to the graveyard with the rest of the cards and end the effect of Reasoning or Monster Gate.

With regards to Reasoning and Monster Gate...

The opponent calls a level for Reasoning and the player picks up cards and can only special summon a monster that DOES NOT have conditions placed upon them for normal or special summoning (ie...Ritual, NOMI). Any Ritual or NOMI monsters (Horus LV8, Armed Dragon LV7/10, etc) and all S/T cards are sent to the graveyard. Reasoning and Monster Gate do not end their effect if one of the Ritual or NOMI monsters are picked up. The effect resolves when a monster that can be normal summoned is special summoned.

Actually, the effect also ends if you pick up a monster that can be normal summoned but cannot be special summoned (such as a Spirit Monster, Gilford the Legend, Victory Dragon, etc.) in which case everything is sent to the Graveyard.
