Recruitment costs

Hey all,

My brother-in-law (for all further posts referred to as arch-nemsis) just picked up the Xmen starter deck. I went over the demo and am looking at the rulebook, but I have a question here.

Magneto as a recruitment cost of 7. However, I only have 5 resource slots available in the game board. How do I get up to 7 on the resource cost.

There is no limit on resources and characters (number in play)... in fact.. there is no limit on anything but regular characters/Plot Twist/Locations ... or minimum in the deck size of 60, but other then that there is no limits (no hand, no character (number in play), no resource, etc).

The quick play mat is there only to provide examples not to limit you to 5 columns. As helpoemer stated, there are not limits on the resources (meaning the number of columns) you can have in play.

Hehe, thanks guys. I discovered this after going into the rulebook a bit more. I'm so silly, but i'm liking the game so far. even better is that they have a three way format setup so me, the mrs. and my arch-nemesis can all go at once! 8^D
