(LIGHT/Fiend/Ritual/8/2500/1500)
[Ritual summoned by "Destruction Ritual"] Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 Spell Card from your hand to graveyard to take control of one of your opponent's monsters until the end phase of the turn.
I know what you're all saying: 8 STAR RITUAL?! 2500 ATK?! HELL NO!
Well you're all wrong. Yes, 2500 ATK for 8 stars is quite... hefty... but you get a Change of Heart every turn. TLM seems to specialize with cards that take control of your opponent's monsters, and this is the king (or god) of those cards. (Brain Control, the Spirit Users, this, others...)
No one likes to discard spell cards, very true, but just pretend all of those are Change of Hearts! ^_^. You can search him out with Manjus, Senjus, Sonic Birds (for the ritual), and Witch of the Black Forest (traditional). All they need to do now is make the LIGHT Contract with the Abyss so I can use this and Shinato in the same deck...
Fiends obviously have a lot of support, so thats good there. LIGHT also has quite a bit of support, but unfortunatly, most of it corresponds with Fairies, and thats the opposite of Reshef.
Why is a CoH per turn good? Well let me tell you, theres been many a time when i wish i couldve made any card in my hand Change of Heart. (or something else) Would you rather Nobleman a FD monster or take it so that you can use it? Would you rather use that Monster Reincarnation or assure your victory by taking over your opponent's monster? Would you rather Heavy Storm or MST that Level Limit Area - B or Gravity Bind or just take control of your opponent's 3100 ATK Raging Flame Sprite?
That's what i thought.
Obviously in the right deck, this guy will shine like those... orbs... okay nevermind the analogy. Point being, this guy will definatly wreak wicked havoc upon your opponent. Add some Giant Trunades and Magician of Faiths obviously to strengthen him more. You can also protect him (and any other ritual) with Interdimensional Matter Transporter, Compulsury Evacuation Device (not recommended), and Book of Moon (also not so recommended).
And hey, you could always use him to get spells to the graveyard for yesterday's card, Chaosrider Gustaph. ^_^
Rating: (in own deck, since in any other deck he'd kinda flop)
Traditional: 3-3.5/5. You have CoH here, and Traditional isnt nice to Rituals...
Advanced: 4/5. Your opponent will be afraid to set/summon monsters. Shinato also implies that effect.
Art:
5/5. Favorite art on a monster by far. Don't know why, it just pwnxorz.
