When a monster attack an opponent's monster and the opponent chain Rising Energy to increase attack, a replay occurs or not...

The attacking's players only field i think.

A replay occurs when the number of attack targets changes on the defending player's side of the field.

So increasing or decreasing the ATK/DEF of a defending monster will not cause a replay. It's actually a good strategy to use, especially if you wait until the Damage Step...

The opponent's field to clarify (the one being attacked). If there is a change in the number of monsters on the non-turn player's side of the field during the Battle Phase before the Damage Step a replay will occur.
