Ryu Kokki

The Syndicate...
If I have a face-up D. D. Warrior Lady / D. D. Assailant, and my opponent has a face-up Ryu Kokki, and i declare my monster to attack his Ryo Kokki, would my monster still get its effect to remove, or would it not occur since it happens after Damage Calculation and Kokki would automatically destroy it.

I would perfer the ruling more towards Assailant, if there is a difference, but whichever should help out greatly. Thanks.

D.D. warrior lady's effect occurs just after damage calculation, Ryu Kokki's effect occurrs after the damage step is finished. In this case, DD warrior lady can go first.

D.D. assailant would usually be destroyed by Ryu Kokki by battle damage, thus he will take Kokki with him out of the game. If however Ryu Kokki does NOT destroy D.D. assailant in battle (Waboku was active, say) then Ryu Kokki will destroy the D.D. assailant with its effect, and will NOT trigger the removal effect of D.D. assailant.

Isn't the effect of Ryu Kokki the step 1 of the chain and the effect of D.D Warrior Lady/Assailant the step 2? In this way, the D.D. will alway bring herself and Ryu Kokki out of play, but is a little different...

Are you sure that these effects take place in different phases of the game, and are not chained?

No, because the two effect occur at different times in the case of D.D. warrior lady, Like I said:

"After damage calculation" is just after the point where monsters are deemed destroyed and damage is inflicted.

"After the damage step" is after the point where all other effects have resolved and the monster is sent to the graveyard.
