Sacred Crane & Morphing Jar #2

I was wondering, if my Sacred Crane is special summoned by the effect of Morphing Jar #2, am I allowed to draw 1 card as per the effect of Sacred Crane? I would think so, but because it is placed face-down on the field, I'm wondering if the effect takes place. Thanks for your input.

Because it would be placed face-down on the field, you would not get the effect.
