Man-eater Bug, Old Vindictive Magician, Night Assailant, Nobleman-Eater Bug, Yomi Ship, Newdoria...the list goes on and on...and on...and on...lol.

hmmm that's cool

I did completely forget about all of those monsters... I know about all of them too. Besides the ones we know about that say destroy in it's card name. What about Hysteric Fairy, or something out of the obvious?

well

yes you right if something is destroyed it is usaly sent to the grave yard i have never heard of a card being destroyed and then get removed from play

but if bansher of light is on the field then i think it would be special summond because it meat its own requirments it was destroyed by a card effect and even tho it got removed from play it will still be specail summoned becaus it does not state were it has to go the only thing it says is if this card is distroyed by a card effect to special summon it and since it was in fact destroyed before it got removed form play then i think it would be specail summoned

but say someone brings out envoy of the begging and removes it from play you will not be able to special summon it because it was not destroyed it simply was removed from play the reason banshier of the light works is because bansher of lights effect is any card that is sent to the gravyard is removed from play so if it was destroyed by a card effect wile bansher of the light is face up even tho it is removed from play it is still special summoned to the field because it was in fact destroyed by a card effect and dosent state were it has to be

on the card text. it says "destroyed". both the spell card and the trap card i mentioned says "destroy". Phoenix Does Not Specify That It Has To Be In The Graveyard To Be SPecial SUmmoned. All It Said "
Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys
Effect Monster (Winged Beast / FIRE / 8 Stars / ATK 2400 / DEF 1600)
If this card is "destroyed" by a card effect, Special Summon this card during your next Standby Phase. If you Special Summon this card successfully in this way, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field."
Unlike Vamp Lord
Vampire Lord
Effect Monster (Zombie / DARK / 5 Stars / ATK 2000 / DEF 1500)
Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap). Your opponent selects 1 card of that type from his/her Deck and sends it to the Graveyard. Also, if this card is "destroyed" and sent to the "Graveyard" by your opponent's card effect, it is Special Summoned to the field during your next Standby Phase.

Cards can indeed be destroyed and then removed from play.

Bottomless Trap Hole - When your opponent Normal Summons, Flip Summons, or Special Summons a monster(s) with an ATK of 1500 or more, the monster(s) is destroyed and removed from play.

Sacred Phoenix has to hit the Garveyard to be Special Summoned. It is a Graveyard activated effect and cannot activate if she's removed from play. From the Official FAQ: If "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" is destroyed and removed from play, such as with "Bottomless Trap Hole", it is not Special Summoned from out of play during the Standby Phase, because this effect activates in the Graveyard.
