Quick-Play Spell

When this card is activated, you cannot summon any monster in the same turn (including Flip Summon and Special Summon). Place 4 "Sheep Tokens" (Beast-Type/EARTH/1 Star/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position on your side of the field. The tokens cannot be used as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon.

So we conclude the Quick-Play Spell week (I'm sure you all figured that out anyway) with one of the most common ones these days. Great stall, great defense, and while you can't use the tokens for tribute summons, you can use them for "Cannon Soldier" for extra damage, or "Metamorphosis" for a quick "Thousand-Eyes Restrict". Plus they combo very well with the soon to be back "United We Stand". All and all a great all around card.

i never really liked or disliked Scapegoat. it was always there in the middle for me. i wouldnt run it over Waboku, but i wouldnt run Waboku over Scapegoat either. (but right now, im not running Waboku or Scapegoat... lol... (its called Curse of Anubis)) its great for defense most of the time, since it protects you for more than one turn, usually. watch out for trampling, though. and Enemy Controllers... and windstorms... and Zero Gravity... '_';;

also, dont activate this card in the same turn as you flip Cyber Jar... that would be bad.

And they allow you to summon up to 3 The Fiend Megacyber from your hand *promoteshisownCardReview* :D

Ok, no one plays Token Thanksgiving, so the two most dangerous effects are:

1. Cards that change the battle position of monsters, like Windstorm of Etaqua or Zero Gravity. This will end a duel quite fast.
2. Trample damage. A Fairy Meteor Crush, Big Bang Shot or Meteorain will work wonders, Dark Driceratops is also nice.

In both situations Asura Priest, Berserk Dragon or at least a monster equipped with Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce will take even more advantage of the situation.

Put Heart of Clear Water on a token to have the fun for even some more turns.

There are many ways to make your opponent cry for having been so stupid as to use Scapegoat, but the Question is: who does have the Appropriate cards in his deck?

Used offensively, UWS is the card of choice. Period.

i did notice that just after having posted my post...I started writing half an hour ago when no other one had posted, watched TV and ate a pizza and wrote down my thoughts and obviously finished after you. Sorry for this, if you feel disturbed by this in any way, but no reason to delete my post, I hope!? ;)

By the way, what is 'Token Festival from FET', I couldn't find it in the Card Registry?
 
the best thing to do is pump a goat up to 6500+ and attack and kill them with 1.

No need to get rid of the tokens, just leave them there, most deck can't survive with only one free monster space. And with Dark Hole banned, Torrential Tribute limited to 1, there are few ways to get rid of one's own tokens without taking a large amount of battle damage.

Sapegoat = Self-lock down (for most deck types)
 
Scapegoat are great ... expetially with morph ...

but i really like to play windstorm of etarqua and run my gorrilla in a ATK position goat .... really funny to see your opponent face ...

Scapegoat is still ran in most top decks today. Sure there are plenty of counters out there, but most aren't main decked. Those that are sidedecked are usually few which makes it hard to pull. Plus anyone who runs Scapegoats probably has them for more than just defense. Whether its for using with their own Enemy Controller, Metamorphasis, and/or Creature Swap. All of those ideas are very effective and they make some decks really tough. The defensive wall is most of the time enough for people to run them anyway. They are probably a lot of the reason that Tribe isn't getting banned on the next list.
 
I play scapegoat in a burn deck x2 along with mass driver. set one scapegoat and on the end phase of the opponents turn activate. then move to my turn tribute them for mass driver =1600 and activate another scapegoat = 1600 damage. and easily multiple purpose mine was burn. battle phase defense is only so so. prefer messenger and gravity bind.
