Serial Spell & Card of Sanctity?

Simple answer: you can't.
Card of Sanctity removes all cards on your field and in your hand from play as a cost. Therefore Serial Spell will be removed from play as well, meaning you can't activate it in a chain. In fact, you can't chain any cards to Card of Sanctity because they'll already be removed from play.
Also, you can't activate Serial Spell if you have no cards in your hand (or if the only card in your hand is the Serial Spell you're activating).
Card of Sanctity removes all cards on your field and in your hand from play as a cost. Therefore Serial Spell will be removed from play as well, meaning you can't activate it in a chain. In fact, you can't chain any cards to Card of Sanctity because they'll already be removed from play.

Um, the thing is, how can you activate Serial Spell in the first place if it is RFP via Card of Sanctity's cost? Also, you would only draw 2 if this were even possible, even though it is not, because Card of Sanctity says darw UNTIL you have 2 cards in your hand, not draw 2 cards.

If the two cards could actually work in chain it would look something like this.
Link 1: Card of Sanctity
Link 2: Serial Spell
Link 2 Resolves first and then Link 1. So Serial Spell then Card of Sanctity.
You would then pay for Serial Spell's effect which is discard and then it would copy Card of Sanctity's effect. At this point you'd simply draw 2 cards because removing cards on your field and in the hand is a cost of Card of Sanctity and Serial Spell doesn't copy costs, just the effect. Now Card of Sanctity would resolve normally and remove all your cards on the field and in your hand from play and you draw two cards.
I don't see why it wouldn't work, but it's ruled that it doesn't. I honestly think I explained how it would resolve but I could have messed up on something with Serial Spell but I've always been told that it doesn't copy the cost part of a card. The first sentence of Card of Sanctity is the cost part of its effect.
I just checked the Offical rulings on the two cards and they don't say anything about one another being activated in a chain. So, I am pretty sure I am correct on this one.

Too bad it is impossible to activate Serial Spell. Serial Spell would be out of play at the same time you activate Card of Sanctity.

Thats for activating Serial Spell's effect. Card of Sanctity requires you to remove everything you have as a cost. Since this must be done to activate Card of Sanctity you will not have anything in your hand or on the field to chain to it. It is impossibly for the controller of Card of Sanctity to chain anything to it because all cards on the field and in the hand will be removed from play long before they could ever be chained. as everybody stated, the cost for the cards activation is all cards in your hand and on the field, except for Card of Sanctity of course.
this card is probably the only card were the controller it self isnt eligible to chain to it.
meaining, your opponent plays any of the following, your screwed.
Magic Drain
Magic Jammer
Null and Void
preaty much they play any of thouse cards and you just CED'd your self.
so why would Serial Spell work with card of sancity?
lets see here, if we go in order of how stuff activates and when, I will activate Card of Sanctity and as the cost to even activating i will remover all cards in my hand and on the field. okay, i am now field less and handless the only card on the field is card of sancity its self since its the card that just got activated.
IF a card gets negated to we get our money back for paying for such card? nope.
so that would mean, that if i play Card of Sanctity there is no possible way for me to chain anything to it. not even Magic Mirror, which before I thought you could combine the 2, but the cost of Treasure Gift From Heaven makes it so you cant because quite simple, your screwed.
so preaty much with the conscept of costs and how you pay them and when you pay them you can see multiple combinations.

wait wouldn't Serial Spell make you not draw since of the line text on card of santicty "draw till you have 2 cards in your hand" but so if you have less than 2 you draw and vice-versa, also if you do draw those cards a rfp when Card of Sanctity effect activates.
Thats not the point, however. You simply cannot activate Serial Spell in chain to Card of Sanctity because Serial Spell will be removed from play.
