Shien's spy and a full monster zone

If you use "Shien's Spy" to give your opponent control of one of your monsters, but before the end phase you fill all five of your monster zones, will the monster be returned, destroyed, or stay on your opponent's side of the field. (Or would it still count as taking up one of your own monster zones like when you summon a trap monster and it moves to your moster card zone but still occupies a space on your spell card zone)

The old rulings used to say that if a monster tries to return to your side of the field and you have no room for it, its destroyed. The old judges list is closed for some reason, but the information is still archived here thankfully. I don't see any reason why that would have changed, and no, Trap Monsters have unique functionality that doesn't apply to anything else.

Joey has 1 face down monster and a face up monster.

Its Bakura's turn.

Bakura plays change of heart on a face-down monster. He flips summons it
(which was magician of faith) and gets back change of heart. He then plays it
to get the other monster. Joey plays scapegoat. Bakura decides not to
attack.

With 4 scapegoats on Joey's side of the field, what happens to the 2 monsters
trying to return to Joey's side of the Field at the end of the turn?

Answer:

2 monsters - 1 empty space. One will survive. One will not.

The decision of which monster returns first is up to Bakura. The first monster
returned will occupy the last remaining space. Then the other monster is
returned, but it finds no space it can return to and is destroyed.

DJ is 100% (no surprise) I just wanted to give you some more info. A fine example of what happens can be seen with this Ojama Trio ruling:
• If there are Ojama Tokens on your opponent's side of the field, and "Remove Brainwashing" is activated, the Ojama Tokens are switched to your side of the field. If you don't have enough Monster Zones for them, some of the Ojama Tokens are destroyed and the damage is inflicted to the opponent.

Oh, and a better example of a card that "holds" a Monster Zone unusable is "Dimensionhole", but, no, Shien's Spy doesn't hold anything.

Wait....

Does it seem a bit odd about the Ojama trio and remove brainwashing?

Since they are tokens and not actual cards.

Or is it because YOU (The owner of the trap card) is special summoning the tokens and not the opponent

They are actual cards, as far as the game is concerned. Normal Monster Cards to be exact. But, yes, since they are generated by your Ojama Trio, then you're considered the owner.
