Shien's Spy

I can't be the only one who's ever run an amusing Ameba deck. Shien's Spy makes it almost playable with Creature Swap, a total of 5 Spell cards that allow you to hand over the little rascal.

Has anyone actually put this deck together and tried it out yet with Shien's Spy? I'd love to see the deck list and your comments on it's playability.

Ameba always seems to be one of the cards nobody ever sees coming making it one of the more fun deck themes I've played.

Every time I mention Shein's Spy, people seem to jump up and down asking why would I put it in a deck. I like this card.

Question John,

are you planning on taking a Ameba and sending it to your opponent with Shein's Spy and then destroying it or are you going to steal it back and do it again or use a different one. And I guess my other question is, if Ameba is sent to the grave and you use Premature Burial on it, can you use it's effect again?

The concept looks interesting for this kind of deck. I've got a bunch of Ameba's that I couldn't figure out what to do with.

sirch...

Ameba's effect can only be used once while it's face up on the field. (see the last line in Ameba's effect text) In order to use it again you'd have to flip it face down and up again, or have it destroyed and special summoned from the graveyard as in the example you gave with Premature Burial.

Now, here's the crazy idea...I use Shien's Spy to give them my Gearfried, then play Morale Boost and Bad Reaction to Simochi. Then I discard (somehow) my Archfiend of Gilfer, keep attaching it to Gearfried, then Morale Boost and Simochi deal damage each time it gets attached and when Gearfried destroys it.
I don't think that works...lol. "Simochi" will only deal damage when your opponent's LPs are increased, and "Morale Boost" increases the LPs of the CONTROLLER of the Equip Spell Card, which would be YOU. So "Simochi" would never get the chance to inflict any damage to your opponent.

Yeah, if you BoM and flip summon it again, you can use its effect.

I didn't have a deck dedicated to this, but my Infection deck ran this guy in 3s along with Bad Reaction to Simochi and some fun spell cards to make them pay.

One thought might be to run Kaiser Colosseum, that way after the swap...eh nah, that doesn't work.

Ironically enough, I think one of the major fiends noticed the power of this card and snuck into the lineup, similar to how Goblin King snuck just a little ahead of Opti-Camoflage armor. That fiend being Giant Kozaky.

I run a pair of Spy's in my Kozaky deck because I'm not looking into the beat factor of GK, I'm looking into the "nuke" factor of GK. So I'll use the Spy and then do something fun like tribute my Kozaky for my Dark Ruler or something like that. Boom. No more GK and I didn't have to swap a monster or anything like that. 8^D

So if you use Book of Moon on it you could use it's effect again, right?
Yes, or..

You have a face-up "Ameba" on the field, 3 "Shien's Spy" in hand (as if!), and "Tsukuyomi" in hand, and "Swords of Revealing Light" on the field, or some set "Threatening Roar"s, so they can't attack.

You activate "Shien's Spy", give them "Ameba", they get 2000 damage.
End turn, you get "Ameba" back.
Your next turn, provided "Ameba" is still on the field. You summon "Tsukuyomi" and flip "Ameba" face-down. Then Flip Summon "Ameba", then activate "Shien's Spy" again and give opponent "Ameba", inflicting 2000 damage again.

Then rinse and repeat as much as possible!

It's wonderful!

Just throw in a Fire Princess or two. That will get the damage running and use that in Simochi's place.

Because YOU are gaining the life points when it is equipped, then losing the same when Gearfried kills it right??? Well, Fire Princess will burn them when you gain.

*raises hand* I made an Ameba-ish deck, as Jathro said. But, I guess it wasn't what you were looking for, huh? You see, I tried a straight Ameba Burn Deck and it didn't work out too well. When I changed the structure to what you see now, it worked a lot better.

Ameba is really powerful, as we all know... 2000 LP damage is NOTHING to laugh at. (That's a lot for one card!)

I'm glad to see more Ameba fans. Yay, Ameba fans!

As it's fairly late, I'm tired (just got back from a day of taking my son to an Univ. of Iowa game) and I'm not thinking in a creative mindset.....what other monsters or stategies can we come up with for a card that sends a monster over to your opponent's side of the field until the end phase? (Obviously Pyrimid Turtle, Nimble Momonga, etc. to clobber....I'm talking advantages INSTEAD of using Creature Swap)

Use Shien's Spy to give them a monster so you can Special Summon Cyber Dragon. Even better, if they already have a monster on the field, then Special Summon Cyber Dragon, use Shien's Spy to give it to them, then Special Summon another Cyber Dragon. Even more far-fetched, if they have a full field and you Brain Control one of their monsters, you can Shien's Spy one of your monsters over to them, then resolve Brain Control first in the end phase, so their monster is destroyed, then you get yours back.

I would say use Shien's Spy with Burning Algae but I would think that one would get a little hairy. You could use Shien to move it over to your opponent so you could attack a 500 ATK monster and at the same time give yourself a 1000 LP bonus. It would just depend on how they would rule it, if they would give the bonus to the opponent of the person who "controlled" Algae at the time or the "owner" of Algae.
