Thanks.

Only with a scoop of ice cream.

Seriously though - no it cannot redirect an attack back to your opponent's side of the field.

damn im getting tired of these questions >.>.HE also dint believe me that i can activate a Book of Moon when he attacks or when he begins the battle phase(now please confirm anyone >.>).Thanks again.

Patrian of Darkness can not redirect attack to any monster at all. It does not redirect attacks, it simply alters the way the game mechaninc of declaring an attack works:

Normal:
Turn Player Enters Battle Step
Turn Player Announces an attack
Turn Player Selects an Attacking Monster
Turn Player Selects an attack target on Player B's side of the Field.

Patrician of Darkness
Turn Player Enters Battle Step
Turn Player Announces Attack
Turn Player Selects an attacking monster
Player B selects a monster on Player B's side of the field as an attack target.

Cards that redirect attacks are either activated in response to an attack declaration (Magic-Arm Shield, Shift) or are activated in the damage step (Ancient Lamp).

Yes you may activate Book of Moon, or Zero Gravity, or any manner of trap, or quick play cards that jigger about with battle position. Can be very annoying. ;)

it sounds like your primo (cousin) may still be unclear as to the definitive steps of battle, including entering the phase, declaring a battle, entering damage calculations, etc. It may help for him to really go through the latest edition of the starter rulebook and to review rulings on cards such as Injection Fairy Lily and Reflect Bounder, as well as Magic Cylinders chaining to Mirror Force, (but not the other way around), and ..well,....geez....

just tell him to relax and settle in. there's a whole lot to learn in this madness we call fun.

And to "Cousin", sounds like Nak44 has a handle on the standards. No reason to think he's trying to shyster you.
