Simply to be clear and avoid confusion... Hysteric Party vs HL Sisters

IF Harpie Lady Sisters is summoned correctly through Elegant Egotist, can it then be summoned by the trap Hysteric Party that says "Summon all 'Harpie Lady' monsters in the graveyard to the field."

I have a feeling since HLS is considered "nomi" that no it couldn't, but again this is to make sure the issue is clear as since the new starter deck is out, I'm sure the question will be raised eventually.

Since no one knows what the exact English wording for this card is yet, it's impossible to answer the question. We'll just have to wait and see what it says. "Harpie Lady Sisters" has already been decided to NOT be a NOMI monster. If it is properly Special Summoned in the first place, it can be revived from the Graveyard. If "Hysteric Party" is worded to bring out any cards that have "Harpie Lady" in their card names, then it would work. If it's not worded that way, then maybe not. Should be interesting to find out.

As far as what's on the actual card here, it wouldn't apply to "Harpie Lady Sisters". (The data in RONIN is from the real cards, not speculation)

It would work for Harpie Lady, Harpie Lady 1, Harpie Lady 2, Harpie Lady 3, and of course Cyber Harpie, since their names are "Harpie Lady" for all intents and purposes.

edit: I forgot ... HLS is definately NOT nomi anymore. That was a temporary error on UDE's part, compounded by the Tip Card that said the same thing.

According to Netrepâ„¢ it's from SD8:
Hysteric Party
Discard 1 card from your hand. Special Summon as many "Harpie Lady" cards as possible from your Graveyard. When this card is removed from the field, destroy all the monsters that were Special Summoned by this card's effect.​
It only summons Harpie Ladys. Harpie Lady Sisters could be summoned, if it weren't for the fact that it is not considered to be named Harpie Lady.

Bummer. Oh well, three cards still make a nice swarm.

Of course, I'm pretty sure that Ronin/Netrep has posted incorrect wording on cards that have not been released yet at least one time before...

If my memory is still working correctly, that was because everyone wanted the card texts BEFORE the cards themselves were released. Obviously there was some amount of speculation, and hence differences between the guessed texts and the actual card texts.

However, SD8 has already been released, and whoever it is that makes the new card sets seems to already have a couple of the Decks. He's not likely to be wrong if he's holding all the cards, is he?

Yes, but my point was that the card IS released, I have it in my hand, and I used it to type the data into RONIN. I have 3 of them, actually, and they all say the same thing, too! LOL :D

Like one time. And that time it was because the card had its text changed shortly after it was released. These things are always entered in based on UDE documentation (like the actual card themselves) and never through guesswork.
