SJC San Francisco

TheOne

Team YGONW
I was wondering who is going?

I just got contacted by my PTO who is putting it on the event, and I guess I am now one of the judges for the event. I have to work out all the details with him to confirm everything. : )

This topic should be in the Regional/Tournament section.

I will be one of the judges there. Looking forward to meeting/observing and working with some amazing players/judges there.

That's because I've already met you, and I know for a fact that you're an impressive judge/player/person, albeit a little obnoxious at times :p

Obnoxious. Thats a great way to describe your team leader....Look like you'll be going on a water run sometime soon, buddy. =P

I will be identifiable as the mean looking asian judge. =) I'll probably have a nametag that says Simon on it. =)

I'm debating on whether or not to include my online name on it but i probably won't

So how did everyone do at the SJC this weekend? I thought i did pretty well, went 6-3 overall and placed 36th in the end. I was using my Relinquished deck . :D It did real well i think, just a little fine tuining.

So thats my 2 cents, just wanted to know how everyone else did.

Judge Winston = smallest Asian judge

I noticed a bunch of you guys wearing "The Syndicate" shirts. Any chance you guys know Brian Forth from Sacramento on Team Shoryuken?

I was one of the judges there, and would've liked to meet you, but I didn't know what you looked like prior to the SJC. I do remember seeing you use Relinquished at the event though...

Anyways, I had a blast at this event and it was fun to work with the local and non-local judges there. Same with meeting and observing players.

Finally, I passed my level 2 test with a 92. Go me! =)

Judged the event. Was interesting. Learn about some things, made a couple of mistakes. Thats how you learn.

Yeah i know Brian Forth, known him for a while. I'm not sure about the team name; I think hes on Sac-Town's Finest. Yeah, woulda liked to meet u too. Overall, i thought the SJC was a great "learning" experience, played some great players and basically found some of weakness in my deck. Good job on passing the level 2 test!
