The mentioned D.D. monsters' effects activate before cards are sent to the Graveyard. Therefore, when their effects activate, they are still face up on the field and will be negated by Skill Drain.
BTW: Their effects do not target; but do use the chain (unlike Dark Magician of Chaos' third effect which is continuous and removes him from play while he is en route to the Graveyard).
