Special summoning the Sorcerer of Dark Magic

Can the Sorcerer of Dark Magic be special summoned through reborning cards such as monster reborn, premature burial or call of the haunted if he was properly summoned previously?

Sorcerer of Dark Magic is very similar to Tyrant Dragon in that it can only be Special Summoned by offering a specific monster on your side of the field to Special Summon them.

If the same holds true for SoDM, then you would have to activate the reborning card, and at the resolution, tribute the 2 Spellcaster-type Monsters to the Graveyard.

"Sorcerer of Dark Magic" is nothing at all like "Tyrant Dragon". It is a nomi monster.

Sorcerer of Dark Magic
Effect Monster (Spellcaster / DARK / 9 Stars / ATK 3200 / DEF 2800)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by offering 2 Level 6 or higher Spellcaster-Type monsters on your side of the field as Tributes. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can negate the activation of Trap Cards and destroy them.

So no, you cannot reborn him from the graveyard even if he was properly special summoned initially. The only way he can be brought to the field is by offering the 2 6+ Star spellcaster-type monsters.

So then you would have to return him to your hand with a card like "Monster Rebirth" (RDS card).  Now, if you change the type of the cards on the field to Spellcaster with "DNA Surgery", would you be able to tribute say, 2 "Beast of Talwar" to Summon SoDM?

If you change the Types of the face-up mosnters on the field to Spellcasters, then you could use any 2 Level 6 or higher monsters as your Tributes for Sorcerer of Dark Magic since they now count as Spellcaster-Types.

IT was somthing that the Rule Guru's came up with to help us understand the Differnce Between Monsters Like Necrofear and the Chaos Mons and Monsters like Beserk Dragon, Dark Paladin, Horus Lv 8, Armed Dragon l7, SoDM, and many more.
