Tsukuyomi:
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up, flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position.
Since I began learning, my "mentors" have taught me the effects of spirits activate even in the graveyard after they are destroyed.
Example: Tsukuyomi is flipped face-up because of an attack by a monster with higher ATK, her effect takes place, then she is sent to the graveyard. Does she return at the end of my opponent's end phase? I can understand if it doesn't because of the effect has to take place if it's on the field. However, the text doesn't include 'unless it is destroyed by an attack.' Also, doesn't the text sort of create a 'state' in which once the card is normal summoned, flip summoned or flipped face-up ...it is returned to the owner's hand regardless of where it is? Kind of like last will creates a 'state' as posted here. I can try to find what I read if anyone has a question on the exact wording.
I really appreciate this forum, it's been a great help, thanks for all your responses.
