Stardust Dragon Question

Okay, say I have a set Bottomless Trap Hole and my opposition has a Stardust Dragon. I activate Smashing Ground and he uses Stardust Dragon's effect to negate it and he comes back in the End Phase. Can I play Bottomless Trap Hole in the End Phase to remove it from play, or can he just negate it again?

The player can just tribute Stardust Dragon to negate the effect of BTH and Stardust will come back again during the End Phase. That's why players are starting to use Compulsory Evacuation Device again. Stardust cannot stop that effect.
