Strike ninja ninjitsu question

I have Strike Ninja and I target him with Ninjitsu Art of Transformation to bring out a lvl4+3 monster. If I then use strike's effect and remove 2 DARKS from my graveyard, will I have the big monster plus Strike Ninja at the end phase?

This is just a guess on my part, but I don't think you can. Reason being, you would no longer be fulfilling the cost for Ninjitsu Art of Transformation, and it's effect would fizzle.

Anyone who knows for sure wanna back me up? Or prove me wrong, that's fine too.

Well, tributing is the cost, so no.

Hmmm so after tributed the ol' striky will not be on the field to use his effect... I guess. OK thx, I think I've figured this out. ^_^
