Stumbling and Pulling the Rug

Player A has Stumbling active on the field.
Player A then summons Dream Clown and turns him to defense.

Can Player B activate Pulling the Rug in response or is this not a legitimate response?

I'm thinking it might because Stumbling places a condition on the field that causes Dream Clown's effect to activate when summoned but will defer to higher thinking.

I'm not sure if the timing is right. It could but I beleive that since stumbling forces dream clown to change the position and that clown effect goes after, so I don't think the time is right but here is what I found on netrep.

[Re: Stumbling] If "Dream Clown" is Summoned while "Stumbling" is active, and changed to Defense Position by "Stumbling"'s effect, "Dream Clown"'s effect activates after "Stumbling"'s effect resolves.

While Dream Clown's effect is a Trigger effect, the trigger is when his position changes from attack to defense position, not when he's summoned.

Pulling the Rug has no effect on him at all regardless of Stumbling.
