Super Rejuvenation and discarding at the end of the turn.

SPK

idle mc...
If a player activates Super Rejuvenation during his/her turn, and at the end of the turn he/she has more than 6 cards in hand, if they discard a Dragon-type monster to try to reduce the number of cards in hand to 6, will that still trigger the effect of Super Rejuvenation?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that the discarding to reduce hand size occurs at the VERY end of the End Phase, past the point where any effects could activate.

Yes, it will trigger the effect of "Super Rejuvenation". However, since you draw another card after discarding the dragon, you will have to discard another card from your hand before play can proceed. And before you ask, if the next one is a Dragon-Type monster, the same thing will happen and you will have to discard another card from your hand. As long as you have a Dragon-type monster to discard, you could keep this up until you draw the card you're looking for.

Does this mean that you choose when to initiate the Hand Reduction thing?

So it can happen any time during your End Phase, as long as you do accomplish it before the actual end?

I'm so rusty. :drunk

Actually this is incorrect, the discarding to make your hand limit 6 will not count for Super Rejuvenation.

Thanks a lot, well this is going to help shut down part of a guy's deck here, which uses normal Dragon monsters, along with Super Rejuvenation and Heart of the Underdog, to try and draw Exodia pieces, because with it so far, he's possibly capable of drawing more than half of his deck in 1 turn.

At least now I can go and give him the bad news... :)
