The "Chain" Dragon?

Is it just me (I hope it is) but is this beast of a card possible to combo w/ Bad Reaction to Simochi, creating chains in reaction to each other's effects??

Any effect that would inflict damage to a player instead increases their Life Points by the same amount. When a card's effect to destoy a monster(s) on the field is activated, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to negate its activation and destroy the card.

If so, think of this:

Gift Card
Bad Reaction activates, inflicting damage
Prime activates, gaining life
Bad Reaction
Prime
Bad Reaction
Prime
...
... (20x total)
Chain Strike

Please tell me I am wrong.

Sorry, you posted in the Card Reviews and Tips section. You meant to post here in General Discussion (YGO). That's why the block above your post is empty now, since that's not enable for this section. You were referring to Prime Material Dragon, correct?

As to your question, it wouldn't work the way your suggesting for several reasons. The main one is that Simochi and Prime's Life Point alterations are Continuous Effects. There's no chain being built, so you'd never be able to activate Chain Strike to start.
