Well this is the deck I have been thinking about doing for a while so I said, since it is Hallows Day, why not post it? And John's Dark Deck topic just made me want to post it even more. So the basic thing of this is a dark deck that has a little bit of everything in it, some beatdown, fiend power, and also some monster removing.
The monster line up is really simple;
Zombyra the Dark: He is there to combat the Airknight Parshaths and Cyber Dragons that are still running around in this format. Also it is a really good card to hold off the offense of your opponent with in my opinion.
Mystic Tomato; they are there for the fact they provide necrofear food as well as do their job for deck thinning and being a searcer that can pull most anything i'd need in the deck, mainly things like Sangan, Spirit Reaper, newdoira, ect.
The Dark Jeroids? Why you may ask, they to me are personal preference and something I really love to use, at first I was using one for my answer of not having a second Spirit Reaper, and now I use them because they can really come through in a clench. That decrease of 800 can really hurt that Mobius, or that Cyber Dragon you're staring down.
Spirit Reaper; Do I have to explain this one?
Newdoria, as we saw in Chicago recently this little bugger is not somone you want to mess with, because he will drag you down with him if you mess with him. It is searchable by both Mystic Tomato and Sangan and can provide a good advantage if used in the right situation. Also it proves to do its job for providing Necrofear food too, giving it a sense of versatility.
Breaker the Magical Warrior; Look above.
Sangan; It's obvious but also it provides Necrofear food too. Giving it even more of a purpose.
Kuriboh; Well it is pretty self explanitory and also it provides nice necrofear food.
D. D. Survivor; It's dark, And it's tech against Bottomless Trap Hole and the Different Dimension Family, enough said there.
Dark Necrofear; I just feel like it fits with all of the fiends that I had roaming around in this deck, and also it's pretty versatile within itself in my opinion.
Dark Ruler Ha Des; Effect negation to every fiend plus being a 2450 allowing it to mow down Mobius by 50 gives it a good reason to be ran, also it's a perfect monster to be removed for Necrofear just to be brought back by either Dimension Fusion or Return from the Different Dimension
... ...
The Spell Line up is pretty straight foward, it pretty much covers all of the basics that you're used to seeing in this metagame, really my only earth shattering difference are Dimension Fusion; which is pretty self explanitory, I know 2000 Life Points is a bit steap but the way this is set up it is not that much of a problem and I could always toss in a Spell Economics. And Rush Recklessly which is amazingly great tech that can really be the difference maker in games, just ask Chaosruler, as he'd so blatantly put "Rush Reckless is that heat."
... ...
The Traps are pretty much elementry so I hope I really do not have to explain much for that.
The side board to this I hope is pretty easy to understand after I went into such full detail on the monsters above and the way the deck works. I really think this could be a good working deck and I am going to most likely start play testing this weekend when I get the chance to.
