I'm trying out Dashers in triplicate to Special Summon the heavy hitters like DMoC, AGG, even itself. It can also Special smaller stuff like the random Stein (I'm a bad wittle boy :naughty) and, if I've got the life to pay for it, I can really swarm for game. As always, please offer any and all suggestions/comments/complaints.

1 flaw in the thinking.

Ancient Gear Golem cannot be Special Summoned so having him in the deck to use with Destiny Hero - Dasher won't work.
 
Touche. Then I just 2 Trib him out. Nimbles, Tree Frog + something stolen, you know.

:edit I'm also considering testing out some "underappreciated" big hitters. Things like Guardian Angel Joan, Tyrant Dragon/Ultimate Tyranno, Invader of Darkness. Also, a Sacred Phoenix could work - even without the Apprentice-Hand engine.
 
Brain control , with dasher what does ur oppent hate most.. not getting their monster back.

with dasher on the field , brain their monster then tribute it for dashers effect.

use magical merchant while dasher is in the grave when u draw into the monster, u will then have the choice to special summon him.

just my thoughts
 
After some playtesting tonight, this deck was beautiful. The addition of Reasoning was brilliant, and Card Destruction gave me something else to drop a Dasher. I especially liked the addition of Guardian Angel Joan. I didn't get to use it as much as I would have liked, but when I did it worked wonders.

@ sonicmonk: Are you suggesting another Brain Control? Cause there is 1 in there.

Magical Merchant is an interesting idea. I'm just not sure I can make the room.

By the way: Dasher = :broken

Once per turn, by Tributing 1 monster, this card gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. While this card is in the Graveyard, one time only, when you draw a Monster Card during your Draw Phase you can show it to your opponent and Special Summon it.

Like the deck.
Try use cards (aisde from card d and graceful) to dump dasher in the gy. DWL and LV are good choices.
 
This deck has seen major overhauls. And won several local tournaments since the original list. The new deck is as follows. It's probably my all-time favorite creation.

i like this deck too jath. i think i like it so much, ill be using it at my next tourney..=D
 
now that i look @ it, mjar and merchant are good candidates for the build in aiding to thin the deck and dump dasher(s) in the gy :) Ideas.
 
Be my guest :) I've been trying Majestic Mech - Goryu in place of Super Conductor, and even White-Horned Dragon just for fun. Also, I decided against Lily and have been playing Wildheart instead. Monster Gate was replaced by a 2nd Swap, and Stein was replaced by an empty slot. It still works wonderfully. Go ahead and try it and offer any suggestions you see from playtesting.
 
dragonseeker, cyber stein is BANNED... yes they have mid-banned a card, and that card is cyber stein... its banned in advanced and limited in traditional so yah...
 
I'm still working on tweaking this deck. New additions, new subtractions... new ideas? You tell me.

Holy Crap!

Where did Brain Crusher come from? That thing makes me really think about making a Insect Deck as i was already fond of them from a distance. This thing works with Strike Ninja / Return from the Different Dimension decks too since it's Dark. Man they love pumping out great Dark Attributes don't they.

I like this deck a lot dude. I love the addition of Ancient Gear Engineer as it's like my favorite card and any deck with Giant Rat in it should be running it. It also owns Gadgets. I'd consider adding a Mystic Swordsman Lv2 since you already got Giant Rat and facedowns are always scary.

Thanks for the props! Mystic Swordsman LV2 is in the side deck, which reminds me I should put that up as well. Brain Crusher is a Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller game promo, along with Hunter Owl, and Masked Chopper.

I'm glad you like the deck. Any fixes or suggestions? Other than the Mystic Swordsman LV2...
