There are 3 god cards that are tournamet legal from Yugioh! R.


  • The Devils Eraser (邪神イレイザー, Jashin Ireizā?, lit. "Wicked God Eraser") Text: This card cannot be special summoned or set. This card can only be normal summoned by sacrificing 3 monsters on your side of the field. The attack and defense of this card are equal to the number of cards on the opponent's side of the field x1000. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, destroy all cards on the field. This card is possible to be destroyed this card when faced up on your side of the field.

  • The Devils Dread-Root (邪神ドレッド・ルート, Jashin Doreddo Rūto?, lit. "Wicked God Dread-Root") Text: This card cannot be special summoned or set. This card can only be normal summoned by sacrificing 3 monsters on your side of the field. When this card is face-up on the field, the attack and defense strength of all other monsters are halved.

  • The Devils Avatar (邪神アバター, Jashin Abatā?, lit. "Wicked God Avatar") Text: This card cannot be special summoned or set. This card can only be normal summoned by sacrificing 3 monsters on your side of the field. When this monster is successfully summoned, your opponent cannot activate spell/trap Cards for the next 2 turns.

That part of the effect was left out. It is:

The ATK and DEF of this monster becomes the ATK of the face-up monster with the highest ATK on the field, excluding a "Dark Avatar" on the field + 100 points.

So basically out of all monsters not named "Dark Avatar", take the one with the highest ATK, add 100, and that's the ATK/DEF of this card. And no, there's no way to try and "cheat" around this as the effect is continuous so if you activate Rush Recklessly and the ATK of the monster is now higher than "Dark Avatar", "Dark Avatar" will increase as well. Don't ask me about Shrink/Megamorph, I haven't tried those.

All 3 are in WC07 (and are downloadable as they've rotated through all 3 if you haven't unlocked them yet). The English names are: Dark Avatar, Dark Dreadroute, and Dark Eraser (real original I know). Yes there's a rumor that they might be released in the TCG later in the year as Shonen Jump Promos. Nothing's been confirmed or denied yet and besides, it's still only June. Give it a few more months and we'll know what the promos will be.

2 things also: a) Dark Dreadroute's effect will stack so if there are 2 on the field, each Dreadroute will have its ATK halved (since it is immune to its own effect but not the other... like Thousand-Eyes Restrict) and all other monsters will have their attack quartered (halved and halved again). b) Exiled Force and related cards still blow these things away, and since they all require 3 tributes, they're "fun" but not likely to see heavy play.

Also, the can be Set in WC07.

Actually dark panther would cause an infinite loop wouldnt it. The effect is continuous and is recalculated after every change in attack levels. Panther gets his effect so him being the strongest monster on the field panther gets his atk plus 100 which causes avatar to increase his atk to panthers plus 100 which causes panther to... etc.
 
hmm, doesnt dark panthers name count as the selected monsters, Doesnt that mean it would count as a Dark Avatar which is excluded from its own effect?
 
No, Dark Panther's ATK would become whatever the highest ATK is of all other monsters +100 since his name is considered "Dark Avatar" for the rest of the turn. So if the only monsters on the field is Dark Panther and Dark Avatar, the ATK of both would be 100. Regardless though, for that turn, the 2 monsters would have the same ATK and could Suicide.
 
ya i meant they wouldnt take the attack of the other dark avatar and create a loop like emerald though. they would take the highest excluding a dark avatar.
 
No infinaite loop, because Panther is now "avatar" and so is disqualified. It would be like saying that if you had 2 Avatars on the field there would be a loop, but there isn't. No matter what, Panther and Avatar would have the same attack.
