Well my friend tells me about these card used in the "Yu-Gi-Oh : Grand Championship" series by some pink hair dude. Like its a deck of Valkryies.

Just wondeirng if anyone knew the effects of like each card that he used, and also if/when these card will be released in the US, if it has not been done so already.

They do seem quite powerful, as he stated that he won the game in one turn, but then again.... thats just the television show.... *sigh* -.-
 
Yeah.... if these cards ever came out it would be overkill. I can remember slightly what they did.... here goes.....

Ride of the Valkyries
Normal Magic
When this card is activated, you can summon all cards from your hand that include Valkyrie in the name to your side of the field.

the reason he won in one turn was that. I dont remember the names, or specific stats (most had 1200 or 1600 ATK), but....with the show only being 4000 LP to start, 4 monsters 1st turn is bye bye birdie. their abilities were something like...

one valkyrie had the ability to, when summoned, destroy a monster on the field and remove it from play. 1600 ATK
one valkyrie had the ability to, when summoned, take the ATK strength of an opponents monster to make its own, like copycat. 1600 atk.
one valkyrie had the ability to, when summoned with the one that destroys a monster, do damage equal to the destroyed monsters attack to the player.
one valkyrie's ability was like Protector of the Sanctuary, but with a decent attack.
one valkyrie gained 200 ATK for each opponents removed monster. oh, by the way, all this guy did was remove monsters when he didn't get the OTK.
 
Sounds almost as ridiculous as that "Cyber Armour" deck that Australian follower of Dartz' uses in Waking The Dragons.
 
Yea, i remebr that armor deck. XD that was pretty wierd. But if do make all those fairy/valkyrie cards, i think that it would be a hella nice deck to run. I hope they make em :)

I should hope so in this case! Some of those Valkryies sound too good to be true, heck, I'd throw a couple of them into my non-fairy/non-Valkryie deck!
 
what about his brothers fairy tale deck! Or has anyone besides me actually been watching the show? The kid plays the big bad wolf, gingerbread house, little red riding hood, cinderella (and her pumpkin coach)......copyright infringement? No, they would have gotten permission........

Just kidding. Anyway, the card effects are streight from the fairy tales too, if you know what I mean. Just sick. As bad if not worse than the Valkyries. And what about the 2 Harpie formation cards? Horrible!!! The show has some sick game breaking card effects that I even hope the game really NEVER sees.

I dunno. The Harpie Bird Formation cards worked with Harpie Lady. Okay, they were still a bit powerful, but don't we all want more themed Decks? They'd be perfect, not to mention a good incentive to run a Harpie Deck.

I seriously want to see more theme support.
 
Amazons really do not need support. The few new cards it got in episode 35 of GX are enough. You can use Warrior Support cards to help it. I can say that if it had more themed cards that would be cool, but all it really needs is that Trap Card that acts like Hero Signal and that Amazoness Tiger support card. The others sucked, especially that situational Amazoness De-Fusion.

I know you can use warrior cards to back them up but i am talking about like field cards, equips just for them basicly being able to make a theme deck that just uses amazons. They have good monster support just not magic and trap support. I can only think of three theme support cards one magic and two traps. I would like to see more. but oh well i probably wont see any more support for the amazons. Life goes on.
