COMMENTS
Trying out Theinen and the Sphinx monsters with the extra beast support provided by Flaming Eternity. I was inspired to build by viewing the use of Beast Soul Swap which I was not aware of until I saw Hayato from Yu-Gi-Oh GX use it after playing Wild Nature's Release. Basically the deck has evolved from there. I have also added in Pot of Avarice for this deck as Elemental Energy is now available. The Dark Door is there mainly because I am counting on one monster and simply because I always get swarmed, perhaps this little bit of tech might reduce the increase in monster attacks.

STRENGTHS
Excellent Beast Support for this type of deck in the forms of all the Beast monsters and using Wild Nature's Release which hopefully means less situational cards in my hand. Pot of Avarice is perfect for the style of deck and the self replicating monsters providing tribute support for all the Sphinx monsters and Behemoth. Behemoth itself in the ability to return Beast Monsters meaning if I do lose either Andro Sphinx or Sphinx Teleia, I can get them back. A huge potetial in combos in this deck. I also like to think there was more support for all the cards, in that they can work together much easier. Beast Soul Swap is a card with a lot of potential. It could be used in protecting the beasts from targetting cards and can also wipe out the destruction effect of Wild Nature's Release.

WEAKNESSES
Every deck has a weakness. It has not been fully tested in a duel so before I can say anything else, that has to be the first goal. I feel the traps are going to be the major weakness to this deck, especially if facing cards like Jinzo and Royal Decree which are relatively easy to get hold of. I may have to side in extra removal to counter that. Burn is always going to be a problem against this type of deck, espcially if I run into Gravity Bind and Level Limit Area B. Life point cost is something else that is going to play a huge part. I have tried to cover that in Nimble Momongas and with Emergency Provisions.

COMBOS
Beast Soul Swap + (Any Sphinx Monster) - All the Sphinx Monsters are Level 10 making this card a must for this deck. Swap out Theinen for Andro or Teleia the same also could apply to the Level 4 monsters, I could swap them out for Rescue Cat and vice versa.
Rescue Cat + (Tribute monster) + Precious Cards from Beyond - A wonderful combo I feel that gives me tribute options for the 6 tribute monsters I have in this deck, plus it gives me card advantage and deck thinning.
Pot of Avarice - This card can make combo decks a truly reality. Bring back monsters to the deck, this means I have the use of Rescue Cat to bring out Nimble and Hyena all over again and if Precious Cards is out more card advantage. I am going to be using this card more in future combo decks
Emergency Provisions + (Continous Spell or Trap Cards) - I am going to be stuck sometimes with cards I cannot use or to help me get rid of Pyramid of Light should I need to summon Theinen. This is the perfect card to help and it gives me a much needed lp boost thanks to the costs of the Sphinx monsters.
Pyramid of Light + (Two Sphinx monsters) + Behemoth the King of All Animals + Precious Cards from Beyond - Pay 1000lp to summon Andro or Teleia or both offer them for Behemoth, effect of Behemoth returns the Sphinx to my hand, I draw 2 cards. Complicated but usefull effect if pulled off.

EDIT - Took out 1 Giant Rat for Cyber Jar, 1 Rescue Cat, 1 Enraged Battle Ox, 1 Helping Robo For Combat, 1 Bazoo the Soul-Eater, Snatch Steal and Return from the Different Dimension. Added in Sangan, 1 Behemoth the King of All Animals, 2 Good Goblin Housekeeping and 1 Scapegoat.

But you don't tribute summon the sphinxes unless you're desperate, so why have Precious? And as for MoP vs Dark Door, it's not about the life points, it's about the fact that you can stop paying for MoP whenever you want. But if it's your preference, go ahead...

To be honest, I have gone that way and consider the Pyramid of Light a bonus if I can get them out. With the amount of Spell and Trap removal running around I felt I would be quite happy to rely on tributing than having to rely on having Pyramid of Light. However, if I do have Pyramid of Light out, I can use it not only to bring out Theinen, but I can use it to trib summon Behemoth as well which allows me to return Beast type monsters to my hand and if I have used Andro and Teleia, I have given myself a 2 trib summon, gained back the cards and quite possibly have given myself an extra 2 card advantage. Although it won't happen everytime I admit that it's tempting to know I have that option.

I will try the ideas you have suggested and see how they go, but at present those are my feelings about Messenger of Peace, but I'm not blanking them as a possible idea.

Made some changes to help. I am currently dry running the deck through YVD which seems to keep giving me Theinen on the first few turns. It was getting a little fustrating so I added in some extra drawing options with Cyber Jar, Good Goblin Housekeeping and Helping Robo For Combat. Other than filling the hand, these cards also give me the opportunity to return cards to my deck, namely Theinen, Nimble and Hyena which to be honest work better from the deck. I am afraid the deck has increased by 3 cards and I am trying to work it back to 40, or if possible add in Morphing Jar so that I can gain back some advantage. Anyone got any thoughts? It has still yet to taste a proper duel, it seems my mind doesn't work the same way as it does in duelling so I am trying to isolate problem cards now and see if I can improve there. YVD shuffle option never seems like me to much.

Took out Helping Robo for the side deck, I still feel it's going to be useful espcially if I face Royal Decree. I've tried this deck in a duel and Precious cards proved to be a good hand filler and gave the deck synergy as well. I've added in a second Behemoth as it's effect can be extremely useful in bringing back the Sphinx monsters. I am trying to fit in Reload and Snatch Steal, so far it's proving difficult.
