Nothing quite as fast. The nest best thing is Different Dimension Capsule.

Depends on what kind of spell card you're looking for. Terraforming will allow you to get a Field Spell card from your deck. Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu's flip effect will allow you to get an Equip Spell card from your deck, like United We Stand, Mage Power, Axe of Despair, Premature Burial or dozens of others. Different Dimension Capsule works too. All depends on what type of spell card you're looking to retrieve.

Ancient Gear Drill can bring the Spell to your side of the field, but there's a 1 turn delay before you can use it.
You could use Magical Hats to get Dragon's Mirror into your monster card zone and then return it to your hand via Compulsory Evacuation Device.
That's probably the fastest way. It uses 2 cards, though.

I have a suggestion (although this thread is kind of old now), but its a card you would probably not ever want to play. Dark Sage. It does search any magic card you want.
I wouldn't say their hogging them. It's just taking us some time to catch up with them. The game did come out in Japan long before it found it's way here, after all. And even then, we got our cards totally out of sequence from the way they received them originally. For this reason, we've gotten cards early, compared to the order in which Japan originally received them. It's also why some of the promo and special releases make no sense or seemingly have useless effects. Because we've gotten older cards late, and newer cards early. We're pretty close to catching up, though.D.M.E.N. said:

That depends on your assessment of "pretty close". We may only be a couple hundred cards away from being sync'd up with Japan, but what is the rate of distribution?? 1 or 2 cards a year, and our Great, Great Grandkids should be able to tell us the way things end.Digital Jedi said:

In all seriousness, at least the Machine Structure deck has 12 new cards in it. Past that, the Fairy/LIGHT deck has 8 new cards in it. So it's not like we're being completely shafted on new cards.

Not just ritual decks... look at the potential abuse with metamorphosis. Activate the trap, then morph it into Cyber End Dragon...
On the bad side of the card, it soaks up smashing ground like no-ones business. Of course, to some people, that will be an advantage, as it can be chained to the activation of smashing ground.
But anyhow, we are catching up on the number of older cards available. Look at the recent mcdonalds promos.
