The highlights:

1) The top 16 gets to come back for day 2, not merely the top 8

2) 4 copies of the prize card is given out now. The top 2 automatically get it, while 3rd and 4th will duel for the 3rd card. (The 4th presumably is still given to the winner of the side events).

3) More prizes will be given out to the top 16.

Wow.
 
Now if only they would set up a 10, heck I'd settle for a 5K and we'd really have something here. This whole grand championship for a card thing still feels kind of lackluster. But at least it's something.
 
Not that I don't like it that Shonen Jump gets more prizes. But I think UDE needs to balance things. They can do that by giving 'good' prizes in Europe. They could also release things at the same time in Europe and America (in Europe it will take maybe a month before Gadgets will be seen in play). I find they should organize Shonen Jumps in Europe too.

That side-event gets the same card as the main event. I think they could give Europe a Crush Card too.
 
So with this news, hopefully, those who end up 17th won't feel as bad as those who ended up 9th in previous events.

4 Virus cards to hand out = amazing and Top 16 get electronic prizes = awesome!
 
Second SJC, unless you're boarding a plane for wherever tomorrow's SJC is right now. :) You get to HJ the first SJC where Final Countdown trumps all Gadget builds for the win though.
 
New format, as in top 16 comes back day 2. New format as in prizes for top 16, not just top 8.

C'mon man!...keep up!
 
Doh, my reading comprehension must be borked form lack of sleep. Well, the bit about Final Countdown will still be true, assuming the March 1st list doesn't hose the deck.
