Thousand Eyes Restrict/Relinquished

I remember reading a ruling a LONG time ago that had something to do with how ONE of these monsters ("Relinquished" or "Thousand Eyes Restrict") can equip themself with another monster even if it was already equipped (thereby sending the monster equipped to them to the graveyard. NOTE: We are assuming that this isn't done in the same turn since you can only equip one monster per turn).

Does this ruling still apply now, and if so, to which one of them?

I'm not too sure... Keep in mind though, that the rulings of yesterday are easily forgotten... So not many people would be willing to place a bet on their opinion.

Both Relinquished and TER state the same thing in the whole monster-grabbing ability... "This effect can only be used once per turn and you can only take 1 monster at a time." So if you already have a taken monster, you wouldn't be able to activate Relinquished or TER's "grabbing" effect again until the taken monster has left your side of the field. Since their rulings state that you can't voluntarily destroy the monster which is currently being treated as an magic/equip card... My gut instinct would say "No, you can't release your opponents monsters.

Not trying to lecture you on rulings or anything, I'm just showing my work so to speak :p

Though, neither cards states that you can't release the monster back to the other side of the field... But if you'd like to follow what the card doesn't say, be my guest :D

Err...that judge list post was made a few days ago....if there was a change, it would obviously be posted  :boxing:

Yes, Relinquished would be 1,000/0 + the absorbed monster's ATK/DEF factors

And Envoy, I'm ready to step into that squared-circle any time you are as long as you put your title belt on the line :D. Them's fightin' words says I :boxing:
