Time Machine Vs Gladiators

This was an interesting thought i had a few days ago concerning the card time machine.


If Player A's Gladiator Beast (Samnite for example) is attacked and killed, by Player B's only monster.

Player A then chains Time Machine to the end of the Battle Step, is Player A able to tag out due to Samnite rightfully being attacked in that same stage.

Like i said it was an interesting thought, but i would like to know how you guys feel about it.

I shouldn't think you would be able to tag out as you have to keep the glad beast face up for the entrie battle phase after and during the attack.

barty64 is correct. When a monster is removed from the field, it is no longer considered to have battled, so you cannot activate the effect of "Gladiator Beast Samnite".
