Came up at a tournament today and I wasn't certain how it would have worked.
Player B has "Toll" active on the field, a set "Scapegoat", and as it happened, a "Magic Cylinder". No monsters on the field at this time.
Player A has a "Spirit Reaper" face-up in attack. Looking at an open field, Player A pays the 500 lp to declare an attack, targeting Player B's Life Points. In responce to the attack declaration, Player B activates "Scapegoat", the resolution of which causes a replay.
So, does Player A have to pay again for "Toll" since it's a new attack, or does the first payment carry over for the new target ( a Goat token)? In this particular instance it was moot, as Player B decided to simplify things and agree'd to let Player A go with just the one payment since it was his intent to "Magic Clyinder" the attack anyway, but I wanted to know if there were any issued rulings on this.
