Toon Deck for Evaluation

Hello all

I have been researching the idea of a Toon deck for some time and am prepared to purchase the cards required to do so (mainly the Toons themselves). Here is what I have come up with:

Toon Deck (42 cards)
Monsters (18)
1 x Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon
2 x Toon Summoned Skull
3 x Toon Mermaid
3 x Toon Goblin Attack Force
3 x Toon Gemini Elf
1 x Exiled Force
1 x Breaker the Magical Warrior
1 x Magician of Faith
2 x Nimble Momonga
1 x Cyber Jar

Spells (20)
3 x Toon World
3 x Toon Table of Contents
2 x Magic Reflector
1 x Sebek's Blessing
1 x Scapegoat
1 x Heavy Storm
1 x Giant Trunade
1 x Mystical Space Typhoon
1 x Premature Burial
1 x Snatch Steal
1 x Swords of Revealing Light
1 x Poison of the Old Man
1 x Dark Hole
1 x Soul Exchange
1 x Megamorph

Traps (4)
1 x Call of the Haunted
1 x Draining Shield
1 x Sakuretsu Armor
1 x Bottomless Trap Hole

Side Deck (15)
Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon
Toon Cannon Soldier
Toon Masked Sorcerer
Night Assailant

Vengeful Bog Spirit
Emergency Provisions
Messenger of Peace
Stumbling
Cold Wave

Toon Defense
Magic Jammer
Waboku
Sakuretsu Armor
Robbin' Goblin
Trap Jammer

I realise it seems heavy on the Spells but I think they all have very useful effects for a Toon deck. My aim through the deck has been to quickly get my Toons out (hence cards such as Toon Mermaid, Scapegoat, Soul Exchange), while also getting as many point returned to me as possible (with cards such as Nimble Momonga, Draining Shield, Sebek's Blessing etc).

Anyway, I am happy to discuss further after some feedback, please.

Thanks
Wizit.

Ok, I'm dying here. This is an extremely well built deck, but then there a couple areas that are really making me twitch. 2x nimble momomga? Huh??? -1 Breaker, +1 nimble. -1 Toon World, +1 Magic Reflector. -3 Toon Mermaid, +2 Toon Cannon Soldier, +1 Toon Summoned Skull. -1 Megamorph, +1 Giant Trunade OR +1 Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce. But other than that, an EXCELLENT deck. I'm glad some people can see the value of, well, you know, 2300, 2500, and 3000 ATK monsters attacking directly... yeah. *grin*

Toon Deck for Review

Hello again

Response to some of the comments so far:
Spell Economics - looks great.

Breaker - there for S/T removal. Why not put him in? I guess the LP gain with Momonga far outways the S/T removal effect of a then weak monster?

3 x Toon Mermaid - she is a special summon and easy tribute fodder for the Toon Summoned Skull & Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon. You can also just special summon three of them and normal summon a new Toon and you suddenly have 4 monsters which can attack directly. Why wouldn't you do this?

Toon World & Magic Reflector - I guess if I have 3 MR, I do not need 3 TW. Is that the Reasoning?

Toon Cannon Soldier - Why put this one in? Why would I want to waste one of my Toons since they are so hard to get out and keep there?

The Megamorph vs Tryce is interesting. Having two clear attacks is a great advantage but so would doubling a successful attack.

Thanks for the great feedback.

Megamorph vs Tryce: One cuts your monsters ATK by 400 and then lets you attack twice, the other doubles the attack, but only SOMETIMES. And what's more, Tryce laughs in the face of things like Magic Cylinder and draining sheild. and Dimension Wall. As for Toon World vs. Magic Reflector: if you have three Toon Table of Contents, it's pretty hard to justify running three Toon World. better to protect the Toon World that you have than to try to draw new ones all the time. Cause we know what happens when you bust out toon blue-eyes, and then next turn the opponent play Heavy Storm. Yeah, it's just better to PROTECT the Toon World than to have a lot of it. As for Toon Mermaid, well I just don't think she's very good, but if you like her, ok.

ps. By all means, keep the comments coming...

What about the good ol' card Emergency Provisions maindecked?

It can often tilt the balance of the game in your favor, and save a few toons at the the same time. :) Or dioes it not work out for you? Curious.

Just a suggestions, but hats off to a well built deck ;)

Actually Emergency Provisions is a great card for this deck. If they would activate a M/T removale on your Toon World you can chain EP to save your monsters and gain LP.

I would probably drop the Magic Reflectors. They are horible top decks and only serve one purpose. Maybe should add a Waboku or 2 and a Magic Jammer. You should have cards you can discard in this deck and this will save your monsters for the turn they can't attack.
