Total Defense Shogun vs. Dark Mirror Force

I know that Total Defense Shogun will stay a live but can somebody give a logic explanation

Because Total Defense Shogun is in Defens-Postion it look logic to me that he will remove from play by the effect of Dark Mirror Force

If Total Defense Shogun is in defense when it attacks and someone activates Dark Mirror Force then Total Defense would be destroyed. However, in the case of other cards like Mirror Force that destroy cards that are in attack position then Total Defense would be safe in those cases if it was in defense position. But in the case of Dark Mirror Force if Shogun is in defense then yes he would be destroyed.

That rulings does NOT mention Dark Mirror Force.
