Tricky chains with FF + Chimeratech

I was thinking about Chimeratech "When this card is Fusion Summoned, send all the cards on your side of the field to the Graveyard except this card." part of the effect and one interesting question popped up: what if I have a set Call otH in the 2nd stand by phase after I activated FF, and when Chimeratech enters the field I chain CotH and targets Spell Canceller- FF will destroy COD? Or COD will remain on the field (because Spell Canceller is negating FF effect)?
It seems to me that COD will remain on the field, because the "When this card is Fusion Summoned, send all the cards on your side of the field to the Graveyard except this card. " is a trigger effect (as described in the rulings) but I'm not sure if I'm giving the appropiate interpretation to "The effect that sends all your other cards to the Graveyard is a Trigger Effect and it can be chained to." ruling. It means to me that this effects resolves like: Chimeratech enters the field, his effect triggers (link 1), then I activate CotH (link 2). Call resolves first, special summoning SC then COD effect resolves, sending Call, FF and SC to the graveyard at the same time and because of it COD remains on the field (sort of Heavy- Royal Decree + CotH case).
Is it right?

It was really hard to follow your scenario, but if I understand correctly this is what you are doing:

Activate Future Fusion, targetting Chimeratech Over Dragon

- Now during the second Stand-By Phase Chimeratech is summoned (his effect will immediately trigger)
- To the effect you chain Call of the Haunted, targetting Spell Canceller

is this right?

Resolve:
- Call summons Spell Canceller (it immediately starts negating Future Fusion and all other spells.
- Chimeratech's effect resolves sending all cards on the field except himself.

yes, this is the scenario I was trying to explain. Sorry if my text was confusing.
So COD will remain... interesting. I searched the answer to this question and didn't find it. Well, my KOF deck has another trick... (I recently got my 2nd Chimeratech, and it's a gorgeous ultimate rare card... :D ).

I think I've found another possibility:

Activate Future Fusion, targetting Chimeratech Over Dragon

- Now during the second Stand-By Phase I have a face-down Spell Canceller. Chimeratech is summoned (his effect will immediately trigger)
- To the effect I Chain Ceasefire. Ceasefire resolves putting all monsters face-up (including SC)
- Chimeratech's effect resolves sending all other cards on my field to the grave, except itself.

This is also correct, right?

Another good target for your Call of the Haunted or Ceasefire would be Cyber Phoenix. Your Chimerateck would be 'saved' by the effect of Future Fusion in the same fashion; since Cyber Phoenix negates the effect of Future Fusion destroying Chimeratech! Neat!
