Ive been running around slowly honing both my dark scorpion and my amazoness deck for awhile now..... well.... my scorpions finally have all the swarm, offense, defense, etc that it needs, and its running FASTER than any deck I have... it just keeps coming and coming.... it finishes pretty quickly.... Want to see what y'all think as its been adapted to the new format..... u should be able to see the assault ability along with the controlling factors quite easily...... Comments Please

nothing? seriously? ok, its probly not that interesting... but trust me its deadly... got the pleasure of smoking a couple 6 samurai decks, some sort of control / beat down with roids .... that one was a killer... but seems the only thing it had a prob with was my very own Skill Drain deck... lol... I lost to it, ... hahah... I guess thats what I get for loaning it to someone to use ... oh well...

anyway.. .. where's John Danker, I know he would have a few things to add in here , along with DJ .. .. anyway... well.. catch ya'll later... I would not mind some actual feed back though, , but constructive feedback based on someone really looking at it... hahaha... ok, Im going to shut up now...

I've never made a Scorpions deck so don't take my advice with too much weight. It may work fine just the way it is. My suggestions more address the side deck as an option.

Obviously you're addressing the S/T removal and control very well with this deck and counting on lowering your opponent's monster attack to overcome then in battle or Creature Swap what you cannot destoy in battle.

Other options or variations you might try...

Side deck a pair of Exiled Force if you're having trouble with monster removal. You're already using ROA and WRA so getting to them won't be a problem.

I'd suggest as well a side deck that lets you side into Messenger of Peace and Swarm of Scarabs. This will let your Scorpions attack whle Scarabs destroy under the protections of MOP. Scarabs can be SS by Mystic Tomato. Siding out to this would be easy as you won't need Riryoku, United We Stand, or Enemy Controler. As well, CoTH and Premature Burial work great with Swarm of Scarabs.

Definately looks interesting. However, here is my advice I would offer anyways:

-2 Riryoku
-1 The Warrior Returning Alive
-1 Enemy Controller

+3 Shrink
+1 Reinforcement of the Army

Shrink is honestly a much more better version of Riryoku, especially with the quick-play part. This means you could activate it at any time even during the damage step where Riryoku can only be played during your own turn.

Reinforcement of the Army I would honestly see as more beneficial as it gives you the option to choose which monsters you would like to use for the effect of Mustering of Dark Scorpions, where The Warrior Returning Alive means you can only choose monsters which have already been destroyed.

The monster line-up I'm not entirely sure on. Dark Scorpion Burglars just doesn't seem entirely useful apart from a swarming utility for Mustering of the Dark Scorpions. There is always Dark Scorpion - Gorg the Strong. While it is level five, it doesn't mean you can't use it for Mustering of the Dark Scorpions. You can search it out with Meanae and if it does inflict battle damage, you could gain a bit of tactical advantage by putting a monster to the top of your opponent's deck. So a fix I would maybe consider:

-2 Dark Scorpion Burglars
+2 Dark Scorpion - Gorg the Strong

good advice there.. i definitely overlooked shrink.... thx peps

aaahhhh the swarms ... John, thanks for the reminder of such a fun card.... I made room for them, and its going to take a bit of getting used to, but I can tell that its going to work well with the Scorpions...

Thanks for the suggestions.. I Edited the deck to show my changes....

They arent much different from the Amazonesses ... in the aspect that they havent had a lot of support... but are a good type to make a deck out of as long as you can figure out how to use them well..... I think your suggestions here are good... thanks for the help friend
