Ultimate Offering Question

Player A has face up Cyber Dragon and a set Ultimate Offering
Player B has a set Sakuretsu Armor

Player A declares an attack with Cyber Dragon
Player B activates Sakuretsu Armor and targets Cyber Dragon

If Player A activates Ultimate Offering in response to Sakuretsu Armor and uses it's effect to tribute Cyber Dragon for Jinzo, does Sakuretsu Armor resolve without destroying a monster? Also, does Player A then allowed to declare an attack with Jinzo.

My reasoning is that it is a legitimate move. What does everyone else think?

Ultimate Offering cannot be activated during your own battle phase.

By paying 500 Life Points, Normal Summon or Set 1 extra monster. You can only activate this effect during your Main Phase or your opponent's Battle Phase.
However, if Ultimate Offering was able to activate during your battle phase, then your assumption would be correct.

Sakuretsu Armor targets a monster. Therefore, if the target leaves Sakuretsu Armor resolves without effect.

Also, monsters summoned during the battle phase are still perfectly allowed to attack (excluding specific monsters).

Don't use "if"s. That practically invites misinterpretation.

Can't really word it any other way. :p Main purpose is to describe game mechanics which HorusMaster clearly had doubts on, which I believe was one of the original key points of the proposed question. Ultimate Offering in this example is most likely just a near-perfect catalyst, despite the flaw, to portray the questions. ;)

Replace Cyber Dragon with Kojikocy, and use Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane. Easy. The fact that it's Jinzo you want to Summon is irrelevant, since Sakuretsu Armor's effect would disappear anyway.

If Player A activates Ultimate Offering in response to Sakuretsu Armor...
Let's reword this example to make it legal. It's my turn, and I have a face-down Ultimate Offering, and a face-up monster on the field (let's say Gigantes). I have a Summoned Skull in my hand. My opponent has a Set Offerings to the Doomed.

My opponent activates their Offerings to the Doomed, to destroy my Gigantes. You want to chain to it with Ultimate Offering so you can whip out Summoned Skull.

Well, you can't. Chaining Ultimate Offering to Offerings to the Doomed just means you will have resolved Ultimate Offering to the field. Ultimate Offering must have already resolved face-up on the field BEFORE you activate its effect to Normal Summon a monster. You cannot flip it face-up AND Normal Summon a monster with it in the same Chain.
