UMI versus versus magic jammer

good morning

i am glad to be here once more

i have a scenario and i need help

player 1 has a umi face up

player 2 plays activate pandemoniun

THEM player 1 activate magic jammer to negate the activation of pandemoniun

question: UMI still has to go to grave since the activation of pandemoiun was negated?

UMI vs field.

How's it going,

To your question, I say UMI stays. Let me explain...

PL 1 activated UMI, sets 1 S/T down. Ends turn
PL2 Activates Pandemoium
PL2 Chains, activates MJ

Chain starts.

PL2- Activates MJ and discards, Providing nothing else is chained....
PL1- Field card, destroyed.

In order to destroy UMI, Pandemoium would have to resolve in the Field Magic zone with out any interruptions. Which it didnt, it was negated by MJ.
