Webmistress, yes no?
So...I left the game right before Soul of the Duelist, but now I'm back into it. So...for my spellcaster deck....what's good now? XD Still Dark Paladin or DMG? or what? XD
 
You should get the spellcaster starter deck if you haven't already. Magical Dimension. Good stuff.
 
I did actually. I believe I got the right one. It's the one with the new Dark Magician card right? Also with the Gemini Elf and Skilled Dark Magician right?
 
scrape up some magician's circles , magical marionettes .... if you're gonna keep the counter version going find a couple of magical plant mandragola's.... kycoo the ghost destroyer can be good - wabaku & mystic lamps for 'stein decks... its also fun to have a side that's a relinquished package... since no one plays it it causes a bit of consternation....one of my fav spellcaster combo's is cybernetic magician & injection fairy....(trib for cybernetic magician , last will the fairy , use cm's effect on lily then atk & pump for a 5400 hit and follow with 2400 cm atk - ouch) and last but not least hand of nepthys , sacred phoenix and hammershot.....'cause sometimes its nice to hammer your phoenix...i am a bit embarrassed to admit but i do have cyberdragons in my spellcaster deck... sigh - but it does help

okieday! Thank you thank you pplz! It's amazing how much the game has changed. Way back when, people wouldn't even think of using half the cards that are now nearly staples...XD
 
I know. I will agree that I do miss cards like Raigeki and Monster Reborn as they used to save me so many time in the past, however all those banned cards makes this game so much more fun and so much more interesting and challenging. Now we don't have to worry about the CED anymore. God that was an annoying card...>_<
 
and don't forget that pesky spirit Yata-Garasu... Many times it has locked me down. The banned list is what inspired me to start running weird decks.
 
I won a tournament with Yata once...it was no fun...so I traded it. It was funny cause I built the deck 1 hour before the tourney, then won the tourney, then traded the stuff for Magician stuff. The card dealer was like: WTF? Yuki are you on crack? And I was like noooooo....I just think DM is sexy n.n So I use mages cause they are fun! And sexy...>_> XD
 
I like spellcasters myself. well, of the GK variety anyway. I had a spellcaster/field control deck, but I got bored with it. it became the new CC, so I went to a Burn. then M/T removal/negation becam all the rage... and that's how I got my GK deck. Anyhoo, have you posted your deck yet?


and cuzwbd; you've inspired me. you really have. I love it. I never thought of putting a relinquished in there. I'm gonna build a deck around him.
