Vampire Lord + Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys

If Vampire Lord and Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys are both in Player A his Graveyard and they are destroyed during the last turn. And now it is Player's A Standby Phase how will the resolve.

They activate at the same time and form a chain (Player A may decide how they are put on the chain) the chain resolves. When Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is summonsed his effect will activate and form Chain Link 1 in a new chain.

No they do not form a chain. The Turn Player could choose which effect he wanted to have activate first, that chain would be built and allowed to resolve, and then the other monster would activate, and that chain would proceed as normal.

No, they do not activate at the same time and form a chain. Both effects will activate at SOME POINT during the Stanby Phase, but not at the same time. You, as the controller, get to choose when to activate them.

So, you could Special Summon "Vampire Lord", then activate a set trap, then play a Quick-Play Spell Card from your hand, or a million other things all while in the Standby Phase. And then, you can decide to Special Summon the "Sacred Phoenix".

Hope this helps!

Is this a trend? I had the same thing happen to me this morning. Who new you could misspell "resolution" as "re****tion". Now I'm still scratching my head on what "Standby Phase" could be misspled as.
