Wall of Revealing Light vs Dust Tornado

If I activate Wall of Revealing Light and then my opponent activates Dust Tornado (or MST) either one, destroying the Wall of Light, can I still pay the cost (if I want to, say giving up 7,000 life points) for activating Wall of Revealing Light?

You pay 7000 life points "when you activate" Wall of Revealing Light (cost mechanic), so those are gone whether your opponent chains to it or not.

Costs for activation always take place and cannot be negated even if the card it stems from is negated.
