Ok, I just need to check something. If Wall of Revealing Light is destroyed, its effect goes away right? Because the text really doesn't read that way at all.

yes, as continuous spells/traps/etc. only have effects while they remain on the field.

So be careful how many LP you paid. To protect it, you need a card like Curse of Royal.
