What a "Tragedy"!!!!!

Does "Tragedy" also destroys monsters that are face-down?

As far as the card text is concerned I don't see why not. Tragedy text says nothing about them being face-up or down. It's just searching for monsters in Defence Position.

Yes, it would destroy ALL Defense Position monsters on your opponent's side of the field. That includes face-up AND face-down.
