What cards come with Nightmare Troubadour?

Please bear with me...

I know the box says that the game comes with Silent Magician Lv 4 and 8 and Magician's Circle. That's what came with my copy and what Deck Studio and both Wikipedia and YugiohWiki list.

But a friend of mine just bought a copy off Ebay, supposedly factory-sealed/unopened with cards, it came shrinkwrapped, and when she opened it, it had the cards that come with Spirit-Caller -- Hunter Owl and the rest. NOT what she wanted...

So she fired off an email -- and low and behold they are claiming that is how it came to them from that factory and that it ships with different cards in Europe. So I poked around the internet for her, found the two wiki references, but also found one at http://www.yugioh-world.com/index.php?id=nt that said it came with different cards, specifically:

The Seal of Orichalcos
Obelisk the Tormentor
Gilford the Lighting

So, is there anyone on this forum based in Europe who actually bought this when it came out and who can give us a definitive answer? :?:

I can't give a definitive answer, but I can't find any evidence that Europe got different cards to anyone else. Wikipedia says it's been confirmed Europe gets the same cards as other places, but there's no source for that information.

It may possibly be the case that the cards were mixed up in the factory, but I suspect that's a very small chance. If not, then it's a case of eBay, meaning the seller is being devious.

As for the Seal/Obelisk/Gilford combo, the Seal doesn't exist, Obelisk has been a promo in an old game already (and is unplayable), and Gilford is both an old tin promo and a Common in a Structure Deck. That list is certainly wrong.

Or possibly a middleman between the factory and the storefront, considering how long the game's been out...

I couldn't track down any info on something official, like Nintendo's or Konami's webpages at this late date, but both Wikipedia and YugiohWiki list the Nightmare Troubadour cards as confirmed; YugiohWiki lists the specific card numbers for both the North American/European and the Japanese sets, and I put up a question in its talk section that got a response from someone in Europe that said both he and his friend got the correct cards when they bought the game, in Europe.

I suspected the page listing Obelisk, et al. was totally off base since the only Obelisks I know of are the Shonen Jump promo (way back when) and the the one in the GBA set of all three God cards (also way back when) -- speaking of which, she found a reference saying NT came with those, which is totally wrong... They came with the Japanese version of Stairway to the Destined Duel -- I ordered that from a reputable supplier just to get them for my kid some years ago. (Paid a lot, too. Probably could've gotten'em cheaper, but was paying for the dealer's reputation for honesty, too, which even then was an issue.)

I suspect either the storefront is scamming her, or their supplier is scamming them. Either way she needs to give them a chance to fix it, and then send it to Ebay arbitration if they don't/can't.
