What does conceald do

Concealed was a new game mechanic that was introduced with Marvel Knights.

Concealed characters go into another part of the field apart from the normal field called the "Hidden Area" characters in the hidden area are exactly like characters in the visible area (normal character cards and ones that aren't concealed, etc) with one exception that they cannot be attacked (not even by other characters in the hidden area). If a player only controls hidden characters and no visible characters, then they're opponent may be able to attack directly, because there is no other legal target.

There is another condition: Hidden characters may not be equipped with equipment except for equipment that specifically states that it may be equipped to a hidden character.

So just to double check things.... Dr. Xavier's effect (I forget which version at the moment) allows you to take control of your opponent's card. Does that allow you to grab one in the hidden zone of your opponent?

Yes, you may target a hidden character with Professor X's effect (Mental Master). When you gain control of that character, it will remain in the hidden area.

so.....
a conceald character can atk normal characters
and normal can't atk conceald
and conceald can't atk conceald
and where is the conceald field on your table?
i thought at first that conceald could atk your opponents
endurance strait away:p

The hidden area is to the left of the visible area separated by one column. This means that no hidden characters can ever be adjacent to a visible character.

Nope. But if a player controls ONLY hidden characters and no visible characters then his opponent my attack him directly.

Provided that the attacking characters aren't able to attack hidden characters. If they are able to, then they have to go through the hidden characters before being able to go directly.

so the only thing that stands out for hidden characters
is that they can not be atkt (unless blablabla)
but the combat they doe works the same as visible characters
so viseble characters can stun hidden one's
in combat?

In general, only the following differences happen with hidden characters:
They cannot be attacked (except by characters that can specifically attack hidden characters).
They cannot be equipped (except by equipment that specifically states it can be equipped in the hidden area).

In other respects, treat a hidden character the same as a visible one.

so if a hidden character becomes stund and a viseble as well
you stil get to recover 1
so the field are 1 so in the recovery fase you stil get your one recover a stund character and not 1 from each zone?
